About us Praxis – noun, plural prax•is•es, prax•es [prak-seez] 1. practice, as distinguished from theory; application or use, as of knowledge or skills. [Origin: 1575–85; Gk prâxis deed, act, action] Praxis was established in December 2007 by Jill Ruchel, previously the Creative Director of fundraising firm Creative Response, and co-founder of what is now Face2Face Fundraising. Jill Ruchel, Managing Director Jill has worked all her life with non-profit organisations or government and has an abiding commitment to social change. She is an award winning copywriter, a previous member of the Board of the NSW Council of Social Services, a past head of a non-profit and has a great passion for fundraising. She is also a Director of the Justice and Governance Network, a non-profit organisation which supports practical democracy and citizenship. She owns two very naughty beagles. Vanessa Juriansz, Product Specialist Vanessa is a business school graduate from the University of Toronto, Canada with a deep knowledge of the Artez Solution for online fundraising. She is passionate about detail, is a formidable project manager and a delight to work with. Vanessa is based in Melbourne, Australia. Looking for us?
